No Refunds on Custom Items
“Due to the personalized nature of embroidery, all custom orders are final sale. Refunds or returns are not accepted once an item has been embroidered.”
Design & Placement Disclaimer
“We will do our best to ensure designs are placed correctly and as requested. However, minor shifts may occur. By placing your order, you agree to accept reasonable variations in placement.”
Thread & Color Matching
“Exact color matching cannot be guaranteed, especially with customer-supplied threads or vague descriptions. Please request a thread chart preview if color is critical.”
BYOI AGREEMENT
Updated BYOI (Bring Your Own Item) Disclaimer:
“Customer-supplied items are accepted at your own risk. MadiLu Craft Co. is not responsible for damage that may occur during the embroidery process, including but not limited to needle strikes, hoop burns, misalignment, or machine error. Certain items (such as thick outerwear, waterproof fabrics, or items with interior construction) may pose a higher risk. By supplying your own item, you acknowledge and accept this risk. Replacements or refunds will not be provided for damaged customer-supplied items.”
Refund & Return Policy – MadiLu Craft Co.
At MadiLu Craft Co., every item is made by hand in a home sewing studio. This is a one-woman, mom-owned business, and each order is crafted with care and intention.
Custom & Personalized Items
Due to the custom nature of embroidery, all sales are final. Once your order is confirmed and work has begun, no returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted.
Customer-Supplied Items
All customer-supplied items are embroidered at your own risk. MadiLu Craft Co. is not responsible for damage that may occur during the embroidery process. We do not offer refunds, returns, or replacements for items you provide.
Mistakes or Quality Concerns
If you believe there has been a mistake on our part (such as incorrect spelling, wrong design, or placement error), please contact us within 3 business days of receiving your item. I’ll review the concern and work with you to find a fair solution if the mistake was mine.
Please remember that MadiLu Craft Co. is not a factory or mass production shop—it’s just me, a mom, doing my best in a home sewing studio. Every item is made by hand, which means there may be slight variations or human imperfections. That’s part of the handmade charm, but I always strive to deliver high-quality, thoughtful work.
No Returns Accepted
MadiLu Craft Co. does not accept returns under any circumstances. Please double-check all details, spellings, colors, and sizing before placing your order.
Shipping & Handling
We are not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or delayed by the carrier. Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly. Once the package is scanned by the shipping carrier, it is out of our hands.
Processing & Turnaround Time
All orders are made to order. Please allow 7–10 business days for processing before shipping, unless otherwise stated. Rush options may be available for an additional fee—please contact us directly.
Shipping
We ship via USPS and UPS. Once your item ships, you’ll receive a tracking number. MadiLu Craft Co. is not responsible for delays due to postal service issues, incorrect addresses, or customs.
Local Pickup – Huntingtown, MD
Local pickup is available by request in Huntingtown, MD. You will be notified when your order is ready, and we’ll arrange a convenient pickup time.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the personalized nature of most items, returns and exchanges are not accepted. If there’s a mistake on our part or your item arrives damaged, please reach out within 5 days of delivery, and we’ll work to make it right.
Cancellations
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, materials may have already been ordered or production started.
